Rate my system, Prices aren't exact but close/rounded.

EVGA GTX 460 SUPERCLOCKED $204 (after taxes, 160 without)
Antec Truepower New 750W Modular PSU $120 ($140 tax)
Gigabyte X58A-UD3R $200 (250 TAX)
Corsair H70 Hydro CPU cooler. $85
Logisys Area 51 Mid tower ATX case $70 (prolly gunna upgrade this sooner than you'd think)
Seagate Barracuda 7,200RPM 1TB HDD $50
LG 24x DVD drive $30
Intel i7-950 $360
Kingston Hyper-X 4gb RAM $70

:D in total it has probably cost close to $1300, again some of the number's aren't exact, just from memory.

More about rate build
  1. I think you should build using socket 1155 and using a 2500K processor .

    Cheaper , faster , newer

  3. this wasn't an Oh is this good should i get these, its an I have ordered these, what do you think? I'm done, It's my first build I'm just curious to know what people think, did I pick good parts?
  4. It will work but I think you missed the boat .

The newer i5 processors are more powerful , cheaper and use less power while overclocking better .

The RAM you have selected is a dual channel kit . That mother board would generally be fitted with 3 x2 gg of RAM for triple channel . Luckily it can run dual channel and the performance wont be hurt that much .

    $200+ for a GTX 460?
