[Help] Dual monitor driver?

Hi I'm running 5770 on 2 monitors. I just added the second monitor today (led backlit and the other one isn't). Right away I notice some flickering on the new screen. If I resize or move anything around on that screen it'll distort the image as long as I move windows, but as soon as i stop, it goes back to normal. This is an on and off problem. I've already downloaded and installed the latest drivers and restarted my computer, but I still get the same problem.
Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried using that screen alone? It might be the screen itself and not a software issue, thats easiest to check out first.

Also, what are the two monitors, specifically the model of the new one.

yes i have. no problem when either of them are solo.

old monitor = viewsonic vx2233wm
new led backlit monitor = Acer S211HLbd
