PCIe 3.0 and 2.0 Crossfire 7850s

I'm going to be running crossfire on this board:
http://www.ebuyer.com/345353-msi-z77a-g43-z77-socket-1155-8-channel-hd-audio-atx-motherboard-z77a-g43

It has 1 pcie 3.0 slot (16x) and 1 pcie 2.0 slot (16x). I'm going to be running 2 7850s. My question is will it run in 16x on both slots? or will they both be 8x or whatever combination.

More about pcie crossfire 7850s
  1. Not much info, but it will be at best @ x8/x8.
  2. Which is fine, as there is not much difference between x16/x16 and mobo with that cost ~$280.
  3. MSI Z77A-G43 - http://us.msi.com/product/mb/Z77A-G43.html#/?div=Detail
    Slots
    • 1 x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots
    - PCI_E2 supports up to PCIe 3.0 x16 speed
    • 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 slot
    - PCI_E4 supports up to PCIe 2.0 x4 speed
    • 2 x PCIe 2.0 x1 slots
    • 3 x PCI slots

You 'can' run PCIe 3.0 & PCIe 2.0 in CF but the x4 on one HD 7850 is not an ideal 'mix'; one GPU runs PCIe 3.0 x16 and the other PCIe 2.0 x4.

A much better budget MOBO choice is the ASUS P8Z77-V LK - http://usa.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8Z77V_LK/
    2 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16 or dual x8) *2
    1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (x4 mode, black)
    2 x PCIe 2.0 x1
    2 x PCI
    *2: PCIe 3.0 speed is supported by Intel® 3rd generation Core™ processors.
