2 short beeps and 1 long. Graphics card dead?

My computers screeen went dead today but the power light remained on. when this happened my computer emitted 2 short beeps and 1 long one and repeated a few times. i called a friend of mine and he said to clean my graphics card which i did. after replacing the graphics card it still beeped every time i tried starting up. is my graphics card dead?

What does your manual say about 2 short beeps and 1 long beep?
