More about which motherboard
  1. Try reading this http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/overclock-radeon-hd-7970-core-i5,3210.html
If you want you could get 8GB RAM instead of the 4 used on the example and a Z68 motherboard instead of the P67 but it is already a good system
  2. thank you. I appreciate you replying.
  3. Get this one. Its perfect for the 2500K.

    ASRock Z77 Extreme 4

I just build PC with this mobo and I like the BIOS, its looks like this.

    Works as expected @ 4.4GHz

For the mobo, I would recommend -> ... Latest Z77...
That is a good mobo choice for the CPU. It has good power design for OC.

U can definitely use this one ->

    ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX

  4. TH 'Builder Marathon' are contorted and are not representative of a well rounded build.

I have a hard time recommending the SB with the IB available and even though the OC 'clock' can be better on the SB the IB is still faster.

The MOBO and CPU depends on how many GPUs and other uses for the system including OC, Video, etc.
