Hello, recently ive been having a few problems with my Sapphire Vapor-X HD 5780 card. I got the card in november 2010 from a friend who never had a power supply to run it, was still in the packaging sealed up, never used. It seems to be preforming a little slower in games, which is a small problem compared to the crashing. When it happens, the screen freezes then becomes black for 4-6 seconds and then windows recovers. I get a message that the drivers have stopped responding. I've tried updating drivers, slowing down the clock rates on the card, everything that I can think of with no fix to this problem. The only thing I haven't tried due to being scared I might make it unusable completely is update the BIOS. Motherboard is ASUS M4N72-E. 850w psu.
