Trying to keep it under 1k but I'm doubtful I will with my taste in parts and the fact I need OS and monitor. Would appreciate the help in choosing a reliable MB and GPU for possible SLI in the future or just upgrading to a keplar series when they do come out. All thoughts appreciated.

O/S - Win 64 Home or Pro - havin't really decided yet which one matters...

GPU - 560TI/570/6950/6970
I like the 560TI hawk but at that price I might as well bump up and get the 570 is my thought process

Id suggest you drop the ssd and that hdd and just get this 1tb sinpoint f3

That will free up a good portion for your MB / GPU and keep you within your 1k unfortunately my expertise as to which MB / GPU to get is lacking so I'll hand that over to someone else.

You can always add in a SSD later and the longer you wait the cheaper it will be!

Also, decided to switch out the PSU and case for these:

The PSU chosen is great, but somewhat overpriced, you can get an efficient PSU for cheaper. Also depending upon your budget you may look into Radeon 6970 or GTX 570 . Both offer exceptional performance. If you are short of funds you can always switch down to Radeon 6950 2Gb or GTX 560Ti .
