Three days ago I purchased a new HDD and upgraded to Windows 7. I've been having problems with my system freezing/lagging horribly while gaming or just idle at desktop along with the occasional error message.

I've ran Memtest, CrystalDiskInfo for the HDD, and updated all my hardware to the best of my knowledge. I can't seem to locate the problem...

The only thing I can think of is my Mobo is from 2007 and the manufacturer's website doesn't offer a Chipset, SATA Raid, or VGA driver for Windows 7. The latest drivers are from 2010 and for Windows Vista 64bit. http://ee.gigabyte.com/products/page/mb/ga-m61p-s3_10/download/

Is this even an issue and if so do I need to replace my mobo with a more current one? Please someone help me  .

After downloading the drivers from the link you gave me everything has been running stable for 4 days. Thanks a lot!
