Will a nvidia570/580 or a R6850/R6950 work for my chip-set? Will i get the full power from thos cards or will i get less performance then what the money is worth?

Motherboard: G43 IPIEL-LA3, PCI-E 16x 2.0
CPU: Quad core Q9300 @ 2.50GHz, 2499 MHz
Ram: 8GB
PSU: 650W Mastercooler

Im aiming for the R6950 and i want too know if i will get all i can get from the card or am i stuck with a nvidia 550?

i can't state how much performance you lose but from my personal experience my GTX460 perform worse in games than my GTS250 with my e7500 at stock clock (2.93Ghz). after overcloking the processor up to 3.60ghz i got better performance though i believe i can get more performance if i can overclock higher or simply going for better processor such as i5-760. well at least try to overclock yours up to 3ghz+. for the cooler part you'll need something better than the stock cooler. something like cooler master hyper 212+ will do

R6850/6870/6950/6970,nvidia550/560/570/580
So out of the cards listed what will be = too my pc stats listed with no loss in performance? and if i wanted a N580/R6950 what will my CPU GHz need to be?

question for anyone.

for GTX580 i think you're going to need better processor if you really want to utilize it's true potential. but for GTX560 or HD6950 people will at least try to get 3ghz+ on C2Q to eliminate as much as bottlenecking effect on the performance

@Jednx01 yah! you got a 4.0GHz i7! i do not =(

@coozie7 my screen is a 23" HD1920x1080P LG

If you guys seen my question i just needed too know if im safe using the HD6950 with my CPU/motherboard with lil to none bottelnecking or what i need to overclock my cpu to.

I want too buy the slowest card on a video card leasing site (http://www.cuttingedgegamer.com/GraphicsCards/index.html) and the HD6950 is the slowest they got..

Yes, I did see the question and I asked because as the resolution rises, the graphics card has to work harder while the CPU workload rises far less so any 'bottleneck' tends to shift from the CPU to the GPU.
Given the high resolution I'd suggest you do as has already been said: Go for a HD6950 (or Nvidia equal) and overclock the CPU.
No two chips will overclock the same while memory and motherboard choice will also affect the final result and better cooling is a must, but 3.2 GHz should be easily reached and once overclocked you'll see little 'bottlenecking' from the CPU.
Check the powersupply outputs, especially the amperage on the +12v line/s and make certain it is up to the job, overclocking can dramatically increase the power draw and the HD6950 also needs to be well fed;)
