More about mobo pcie dual
  1. What cards are you planning to use? Most cards have a hard time saturating the PCIe 2.0 x16 slot so you won't see a difference in gaming whether its PCIe 2.0 x8/x8 or x16/x16

    Here's a mb supporting PCIe 2.0 x16/x16 using a PLX PEX8608 chip

    it'll be GTX 570 2.5GB or GTX 670 2GB
is there another one cheap :D
  3. if you're looking at cards in the $400 price range, the gtx 670 is the best choice IMO. Another MB you should take a look at is the MSI Z77A-GD65. It can run sli/cf modes at PCIe 3.0 x8/x8 (which is equivalent to the bandwidth of 2.0 x16/x16) and has an available 3 slot which runs at 3.0 x4 (for 3 way sli/CF).
