I'm looking to buy a nice gaming computer. I haven't built anything before, so I don't really know what I'm doing, but from looking around these are the parts that I have decided on. I will putting this together within the next 2 or 3 weeks. Any comments or suggestions would be great.
We got some ideas and will custom build to your needs (www.foxteknology.com). You might want to take a look at our pre-configured lines to get an idea of how the system performance increases with each tier. Any questions, feel free to email our tek gurus at firstname.lastname@example.org
@Bill fox this is not the proper place to advertise for your company.
It looks as like you picked high quality parts which is a plus. I would bump up the power supply wattage just a little so you can assure yourself sli compatibility without having to buy a replacement PSU
For parts suppliers Newegg and Amazon are consistently the best option with tigerdirect and walwart.com coming in with lower prices on rare occasions. It is worth while to do price comparisons though. Check out the storm enforcer on Newegg, it has front panel usb 3.0 and the CM storm scout from walmart.com
Most of us just buy the cheapest DVD/CD burner, it will run you about twenty dollars.
Nobody seems to recommend PNY for memory. G skill and Corsair are most often recommended for memory, I perfer G skill myself though.
