My old mobo which is a MCP7AM01G1 MB.G5409.005 from gateway, it is out of a LX6810-01. My question is, it has an optical SPDIF out which was used for the gt120 that was in it for hdmi audio pass through, now I cannot remember which pins where which so how would I tell? Then would this work http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0035J9Z7W/ref=gno_cart_title_1 It seems to have the same setup as a Foxconn mobo. Also I am having issues with my gt120 and my Samsung Syncmaster 2770HD using HDMI, it makes the images weird, if its on DVI it is perfectly fine but HDMI looks blurry and Clear type does not help. I have seen that it is from edid on the monitor, so if someone could lend a hand that would be great.
