Approximate Purchase Date: this week
Budget Range: $2000
System Usage from Most to Least Important: DCC, Maya, CS5, no gaming
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com, amazon.com
Country of Origin: USA
Parts Preferences: open
Overclocking: Yes, if not significantly affecting reliability
SLI or Crossfire: No
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Additional Comments: This will be my first build. Will sacrifice performance for reliability and ease of build. Below is my best guess at a system. Would like feedback on if everything will work together and any suggestions on better component selections would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I'm not sure if I really need a SSD for a boot drive...are they reliable enough? Will this only improve system boot times and the time it takes to load programs?
