My pc won't boot but starts?

My Pc starts up but does not boot. But it also starts up by itself every time I connect the the pc to the power cord. Every fan and driver starts up. The LED in the power button won't turn on either. I had this problem before and people suggested that I should change the power supply and I did. It seemed fine after i replaced it but then the computer started to mess up again. My desktop is also a personally built gaming pc. Any help?

Check your power cord, if it's too light it can reduce the voltage going into the machine and cause all kinds of problems... I know it seems to simple but sometimes the simple things are the answer!
