Check my build

Hey, so I came up with a computer build that I think works and I am just after some feedback as well as to have some of the more experienced computer people check that these components will work with each other. I built this computer for college as well as to do some light gaming. This is my first build so feel free to correct anything that is wrong. This build fit my budget perfectly so I don't really want to spend more than this if I can help it. Thanks :)

  1. If you name your parts then we aren't forced to click your links. We are familiar with most parts.

I cannot see what board you chose. You seem to be on such a low budget that you can't meet your own requirements... the video card is very poor.

Here is the right way to do this on a tight budget.

Sony Optiarc CD/DVD Burner Black SATA Model AD-7260S-0B - OEM
Xigmatek ASGARD II B/B CPC-T45UC-U01 Black / Black 0.8 mm SECC / Aluminum and Aluminum Mesh Bezel ATX Mid Tower Computer ...
Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Rosewill Green Series RG430-S12 430W Continuous @40°C, 80 PLUS Certified, Single 12V Rail, Active PFC "Compatible with Core ...
    G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-4GBNT
BIOSTAR A880G+ AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
    AMD Athlon II X2 260 Regor 3.2GHz Socket AM3 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor ADX260OCGMBOX
    TOTAL: $265.93

That's everything you need to get started. The video built in to the motherboard is OK for very light gaming, and you can upgrade to an adequate gaming card such as this 5670 later

For the operating system, you can get a student edition of Win 7 Premium OEM 64-bit.
  2. Thanks for your help and the tips! :) Im obviously new to this so it's nice to have people on the forum be so nice about posts like mine.
