Need help picking OS

Hello all

This will sound a stupid question to those who know PC's inside out but I'm building my first PC and not a 100% sure on the following question.

Which Windows 7 home premium do i require for a new build with no OS installed, i.e is it the full version, OEM etc etc (its just for 1 PC)

Just want the cheapest, standard windows 7 to get my PC going for gaming etc. any feedback would be much appreciated or a link to the Windows 7 pack i'm looking for would be even better.
