Do I need to format after MB RMA?

I'm going to RMA my motherboard P8z68-v pro because 2 of the dimm slots don't work. After I get the replacement, do I have to format the boot drive?

same mb, exchanging p8z68-v pro for another p8z68-v pro

the boot drive has windows installed already

No. It will boot up just fine even if you have a Intel RAID.
