Just built a new system about a month ago with parts bought from Newegg (it's my third build). Everything works fine except the RAM. System runs unstable and the RAM fails MemTest86. I've now done 3 RMA's trying to get good RAM. Here's the system specs:

CPU: i5-2500k
GPU: Asus CUII GTX 570
PSU: Corsair HX850
MoBo: ASRock P67 Extreme4
RAM: G.Skill Sniper 1.25V DDR3 1600 (2x4GB) (F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR2)

Case: HAF X

The RAM is on the MoBos approved list....the MoBo is on the RAMs approved list...other people in forums have talked about using this specific RAM on this specific MoBo with no problems. My old RAM works fine with the MoBo so I know the MoBo is good to go.

Am I missing something? Could I be doing something wrong?

Thanks

Check in BIOS that the RAM is running at its stated timing and voltage . If it is then add a little more voltage and see if that stabilizes things

Thanks for the advice Outlander. The RAM is already on its way back to Newegg. Once I get the new set in I'll try that if I have any problems.
