One more .... the cheapest at $244

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/nvidia_asus_gtx...

I put 2 of them in my son's box.....overclocked 1st one to 1000Mhz w/ no voltage adjustment req'd...... 2nd one I got up to 980 before familial obligations had me suspend testing ... will tackle again this weekend.

The 6950 is not cheaper than the 900Mhz 560.... (prices on the 560 900 MHz start at $230 on newegg) ... nor are they faster. In fact, these 560's closely match the 6970's.....

In Guru3D's game suite test, the 6970 wins (+31 fps) in a single card configuration 526 fps to the 900MHz 560's 495 fps.....the 6950 (2GB) scores 479.

In pairs, the SLI'd 900Mhz 560's (+37 fps) score 862 fps to the CF'd 6970's 825.....the 6950 (2GB) scores 751.

$245 for the Asus 560 Ti Cu II TOP http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
$240 for the 6950 1GB
$275 for the 6950 2GB
$340 for the a 6970

MSI gold edition, pop the cooler and mod with for cooling of the power vrm and maybe the vram then you are set. Copper is always a nice addition to any card.

Heres my story. (i`m just getting lazier in my older age lol. ) My computer started to shut down right after turning it on. I had this happen once before when it was a stock computer and had to replace the mb. So I figured it was the same as before so I decided its time for an upgrade anyway. I ordered

Kingston Technology Kingston HyperX Genesis
Memory - 8 GB : 2 x 4 GB - DIMM 240-pin - DDR3 - 1333 MHz / PC3-10600 - CL7 - 1.65 V - unbuffered - non-ECC KHX1333C7AD3K2/8G

Intel Desktop Board DP67BG Extreme Series
Motherboard - ATX - LGA1155 Socket - iP67 - USB 3.0, FireWire - 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet - HD Audio (10-channel) BOXDP67BGB3

Intel Processor - 1 x Intel Core i5 2500K / 3.3 GHz
1 x Intel Core i5 2500K / 3.3 GHz - LGA1155 Socket - L3 6 MB -

With nothing on the tv on a sunday morning and looking at the walls i decided to open the case and keep hitting the power button and see if anything on the mb gets hot. To my suprise the cpu fan was dangling off the board. I put it back and and i hve my computer back. I cleaned the fan and vents a few days earlier and didnt get it seated properly. pita stock cooler.

So now that i had these parts on the way i decided to do the video card as well. My psu is either 550 or a 650 so I`m good there. Running vista 64 bit but thinking of doing a upgrde to win 7- 64b.

No plans on sli. My gaming has dwindled to nothing else better to do. So there ya have it. Just deciding on what card to get for the bucks.
I play eq2 and going to get the new elder scroll when it comes out.

No surprise lets talk about the three degrees of a blue lodge and the secret of Hiram Abiff or what it means to be a true Christan.
Complicated stuff aside you sounded like a 16 year old with a wad of cash.

Do you see the little black squares? Not the large gray chokes but the two rows next to them. Get some of these and apply them.

or

Easy and cheap, even a toddler can do it. AMD even posted a video featuring and monkey installing a 5670.

40 years ago America was a real nation, in my great grandpa's day gas was only a nickle a gallon and that same nickle could buy a nice cold soda or candy. Fast forward a few decades three grand would have bought a nice new mustang or firebird.

I vote this one because of higher core clock and identical pricing.
