High Voltage Influence?

Hi everyone. I looked around the forums but didn't find any answers to my question. Perhaps I'm just 'looking' into stuff too deeply. I will be ordering my computer case lighting in the next couple of days and was debating whether I should go with cold cathode or LED. I've read that cold cathode has been around for awhile and is the overwhelming choice for case lighting, however, I was wondering if the high voltage of the inverter used with cold cathodes have a negative effect on the operation of other components such as cpu's or gpu's?

Like I said, I may just be 'looking' too deeply at stuff but I am spending a fair amount of money on my first build and want to make sure that there are no unforseen problems.

Solution
The inverter is tiny and it has no effect on anything. Check out some led strips too I have 2 cathode light in my desktop and they are not as bright as I thought they would be.
