We had these in the BD rumors thread. Suffice to say, there are people who don't think they are "official".

I have a hard time trusting it as I expect more out of BD than that.

To get actual performance, you need:

Final production silicon
Final processor microcode
Final system BIOS
Final OS optimizaitons
Final drivers
An app compiled with the latest flags
A person who understands the app and configures the test properly

lab501 likely didn't have any of these; especially since those results look like an 8-core Thuban, and AMD isn' t likely to have spent 3 years to get that for final performance...

I think a lot of you are going to be disappointed tomorrow morning.

dominharbor(intel fanboys) have since come out with benchs that seem to suggest that those 501 benches are not accurate (has alot to do with a windows scheduler patch??? er som'n the like)

1) Wait till tomorrow when the NDA lifts and we have real benches.

2) Who seriously expected bulldozer to crush sandy bridge? Really? All the actual evidence at this juncture points to it being on par with Nehelem in single threaded apps and slightly faster than SB in multithreaded ones.

3) Did you even see what I posted 6 inches above this??

Sorry guys but BD is still under NDA, so, official results aren't really official.
