I have pretty good laptop but all the games run slow

Hello, I have Acer 5553G laptop (6GB RAM model)

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
AMD Phenom II X4 Mobile
6GB DDR3

Im so tired because i have searched info from all over the inet and nothing, i think games should run smoothier than 10-25fps with this card (games like Assassins creed 1)

Btw, i tried lowering the settings in Assassins Creed but it didn't help at all! (until i completely disable shadowing, wich makes the game look ridiculous.)

Could this card be a faulty?

I don't know a lot about laptops, but there are two likely reasons for the low performance:

1) A 5650 is a low end product for a desktop, and the mobility counterpart is even lower end. This is likely the problem on performance.

2) Laptop's usually have lower CPU speeds. You didn't list what speeds it runs at, but this will also effect performance.

Yes i know, but my laptops performance is going worse every day!!!!!!
2 weeks ago i had over 200 fps in Counter strike source, but now i have about 60!!
