what is crossfire technology

Using more than one ATi/AMD graphics card for a boost in performance, they are both connected to the M/B via PCI-e slots and most are also connected to each other via a crossfire cable. Sli is Nvidia's name for their tech.

Also you usually crossfire two identical graphics cards, AMD has a compatibility chart out for more info.
