My PC consists of my trusty Q6600 and Gigabyte board with 4GB DDR2. Its still good but I have the upgrade bug with all this new stuff out and I want to jump on Sandy Bridge. I know Bulldozer is out soon but I don't care for AMD.

I'm looking forward to BF3 in October and want something decent enough to play it on my 23" LED. I'm thinking of buying a 2500K with an MSI G45 motherboard and 8GB DDR3. I'm a noob when it comes to Overclocking but I've read BT's guides and it looks easy enough.

Just had a quick look at the buyers guide and I think the Be Quiet Advanced is the way forward for temps and noise; I can't stand noise! Aria have it cheapest on Deal4Today at £36 - http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Fans%2C+Heatsinks%2C+Coolers/CPU+Coolers/Be+Quiet%21+Dark+Rock+Advanced+CPU+Cooler+?productId=43590

I'll need a decent GPU too so I was thinking - http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Graphics+Cards/NVIDIA/NVIDIA+GTX+560+Series/EVGA+GeForce+GTX+560Ti+DS+%22Superclocked%22+1024MB+GDDR5+PCI-Express+Graphics+Card+%5B01G-P3-1567-KR%5D+?productId=45232

I also want to put it in a nice small SSD in my system. Never had an SSD before. What about this? http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Solid+State+Drives/Crucial+m4+64GB+2.5%22+SATA-III+Solid+State+Hard+Drive+?productId=44257

Thanks!

MSI P67A-G45

With a low-midrange card like a GTX560 and playing BF3, there will be absolutely no need to overclock the cpu. Even with 2-GTX560ti, you still wouldn't need to overclock the cpu.

You would just be wasting electricity.
