Socket 939

I have the asrock 939 nf4g vsta with an athlon 64 3500+ I'm trying to put the athlon 64 3800 in but it's not sitting in the socket.

Did you loose a pin on the 3500+ in the socket?

No all pins are intact. Looking at the back of the CPU there are gaps where there arnt any pins , they look different to each other on each CPU
