Zotac GTX 460 AMP! or MSI HD 6850 Cyclone OC/PE?

Hi guys! I'm newbie here and I would ask you for the first time.

Is it worth it if I buy Zotac GTX 460 AMP! or MSI HD 6850 Cyclone PE/OC?

As seen on hwcompare, the HD 6850 dominated the GTX 460. But my friend tell me that GTX 460 has more excellent performance than HD 6850.

I'm confused, and i need your help to choose. Thx

At stock, the GTX 460 is slightly slower than the HD 6850. However the GTX 460 is a better overclocker than the HD 6850. Also, it scales better than the 6850 when overclocked.

But is it comparable when those are OC edition? Coz it's AMP! vs PE/OC. Oh yeah also i have a problem with the size of the GPU, i just wanna know the dimension of those GPUs (cm x cm or in x in). I have no idea about OC coz I'm not an OC-er.

When OCed, the GTX460 performance is quite similar to the HD 6850.You can easily get the dimensions by checking with the manufacturer's website.

Too right, my friend said that it can be faster than HD 6850 if OCed. But i'm sorry, like i said - i'm not an OCer.
Oyea i can get the GTX 460 dimension from the official website, but for the HD 6850 - i have no idea for this one

And what about if those cards compared wiht the HD 5830?

I would agree with the "losing performance" HD 5830. And we'll back to the first comparison - GTX 460 AMP! vs HD 6850 Cyclone PE. Now what about the price and class scale? I'm Indonesian, so it has alot of different in the price than in the US or the other Country. It's worth $224 for a GTX 460 AMP! and $201 for an HD 6850 Cyclone OC. So what will you choose?

I have no more idea for CF/SLI-ing a GPU, besides i have no mobo that supports that feature. I just would like to buy a single and powerful GPU than filled my "mid-size" case with giant GPUs

But still, besides i'm looking for friendly price..i'm looking for the best performance too, i still doubt the performance coz in some case, GTX 460 has a winning performance than 6850..aw man, my head
