How much power is necessary for my PSU

the calculator said Your Recommended Minimum Power Supply is 900 Watts but to make sure to get more then the recommended to make sure its stable so how much over 900 should i get 1000? i had previously selected a 1100 watt power supply before i used the calculator.

also anyone want to recommend a monitor? maybe a 27" or a "24"

  3. Unless you plan on adding another 570 a quality 650W would be fine.
    With a 2nd gpu you would need a 850+W psu.

  5. Calculators aren't the most accurate and if it's a makers they always up-sell.
    My info is gathered from Guru3D and a power hungry 1366 test system used for their benchmark.
