Will Asus GTS 450, which is OVERCLOCKED to 925Mhz out of the box runs on my CORSAIR CX400 PSU...???

If not, Can U Pl z suggest me some best PSU for 450W~500W that cost around Rs.3000 ( around $50)..??

Or else,

Shall I go with MSI GTS 450 or ASUS GTS 450..???

Solution

Yes it will run for SURE, your PSU is a great PSU.
It has 30 A in the 12V rail, so it´s enough. Do not worry.
Also your CPU only requires 65 W to work...

CPU: 65w
GPU:120w
OTHERS(HDD+MEMORY...):40 w
225 W ¡¡¡

And your PSU is a quality 400 w. Do not change it.

My system specs are:

Intel CORE 2 Duo E7200 @ 2.53Ghz
Main Board model: Intel DG31PR
HDD: 1TB Seagate + 160GB
Chip set: G33/G31 Express Chip set Family.
Transcend 4GB RAM DDR2 667Mhz

Now, will it run..???

I would suggest you a FSP Saga II 500w, Thermaltake LitePower 500w or Amacrox Earth Style 500w..it's around 50$ and i believe that these choice can handle your GPU and systems. Besides, you need more power for OC ing your GPU, and more cooler fan i think :D

Oh yeah, i vote for MSI GTS 450 Cyclone..it has more power on the core clock (850MHz). Except if the ASUS GTS 450 DCU are OC or TOP edition. It has a same core clock (850MHz too). So, if it's ASUS ENGTS 450 DCU OC/TOP vs MSI GTS 450 Cyclone OC (there's no default edition for this GPU), then it'll be a hard choice - the performance of the two GPUs are same, so just choose the best shaped card :D

lol..

but according to this chart, FSP makes worse quality

http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/323050.aspx

and Thermaltake LitePower 500w or Amacrox Earth Style 500w are not available nearby stores....

what are you on about, his current psu is perfectly fine for that card. see review here > http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Corsair-CX400W-Power-Supply-Review/750/10

Also you should consider the faster ati 5770. its around the same price as stock clocked gts450's but is as fast as the overclocked 450's.
