Hello and good day for everyone!

I want to ask your opinion in what motherboard should I choose for an i7 3770?

Currently, theorically I have these parts:

- i7 3770 [processor]
- 8192MB 1600MHz Corsair Vengeance LP KIT CML8GX3M2A1600C9 [2x4096mb RAM kit]
- ASUS GTX560 Ti DirectCUII Top [VGA]
- Corsair CMPSU-600CXV2EU 600W [PSU]
- 2x Samsung HD322GJ [320gb HDDs each]
- 1x Samsung STORY station [external HDD]

What I may want in the future is:
- Expanding the memory (because I have to open multiple IDEs at once), only if I'll often run out of memory
- SLI the video card if I'll want better performance in games

But if that really pushes up the price, they are not neccessary. So, I was thinking about an ASUS P8Z77-V because that fits to my budget. Is that enough for my SLI and RAM needs or only for the basics?

Also, if you can see that, is the 600w PSU enough for the advanced setup? If the MOBO is not enough for that, is it enough for the basic setup?

---
Thanks in advance!

How about the Asus Sabretooth Z77. It's getting great reviews?

First off for the OP, the Sabertooth Z77 is a good choice IF you get a IB (K) CPU with the intention of OC'ing -- otherwise for a non-(K) LGA 1155 it's a waste of money though it does offer a 5 year warranty.

No OC'ing is all about Phases, Phase control, Voltages, Temps of the VRM and Chipsets. On a SB/IB you cannot get a low vCore without excellent Phase control then you cannot keep it running hours at a crack without keeping both the VRM and Chipset cool -- that the whole point of the Sabertooth's line.

In the past I had the same ill conceived 'beauty' mindset of the Sabertooth lines, and I said the same things with the Sabertooth X58. Then I saw the Sabertooth X79 in person and changed my mind. Add Gold RAM to match the Gold VRM -- and it looks damn good and better than a washed-out black on black on black setup.

I'm looking for the cheapest I can find, so I think I'll go with the Z77 Extreme 4 but thanks for everyone. If someone can suggest a cheaper (because I'll have the non-K version => no OC) I would thank that.
