Required power for SLI 470

I Want to SLI my MSI 470 twi frozer and would like to know what kind of power supply I should be looking at and what is the general rule for calculating the power supply u need?

Other specs is
i5 2500k
Coolermaster hyper 212
4gb corsair vengance RAM
2 1tb samsung harddrives

General rule is count your stated loads (amps) for all your hardware and add them up (it's sometimes not possible to get ahold of trustworthy figures). Know that most manufacturers will quote peak power on the box, be wary of this. To cover what you listed in your post, 1000watts from a quality PSU would be my personal choice.
Buy the best you can afford, you are looking for total amps availible on the 12v rail, pay less attention to wattage figure claims on the box.
