I think I'm having an issue with MOBO and DRAM recognition. I've listed what I have in the system below:
-Sabertooth x79 mobo
-Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600 16GB DRAM (4x4 GB)
I know the Sabertooth x79 has been know to have DRAM issues out of the box which is why I'm bringing this here. Everything is booting up fine to the BIOS except the stated "Target DRAM Speed" which is at 1333MHz when the sticks are 1600MHz.
I've flashed the latest bios upgrade already to the MOBO and the MOBO is recognizing each stick of DRAM just not at the correct speed. I've included pictures which are below.
Do I need to change the slots the sticks are in? Alignment of the DRAM follows what is laid out in the MOBO manual.
Thank you!
