The ASRock Z77 Extreme4 has really made a name for itself. apart from what I mentioned above, it has a nice UEFI Bios, Crossfire/SLI support , Good Power design(8+4) for overclocking, excellent price tag.
All in all, a really good Z77 motherboard.
I have the Extreme4 and really like it. Although it supports SLI and Crossfire, I am just using the on-chip graphics for now, knowing I can put in a couple graphics cards to get more mileage out of the system. It is very easy to work with and priced right.
Do I have the below information right? 6GB modules will not work as they should on the ASROCK|Z77 EXTREME4 Z77 1155 R.
RAM module of 6GB was left on the old MSI board that I'm no longer using. 4 module of 6GB each I have on the new board. I beleave that I now understand, this old 2009 6GB RAM from iBuypower will not work as it should on the new board. I need 4GB modules or 8GB modules 4 X 8GB for 24GB. Thanks for all of the help everone. v/r Gmack
