Working on my first build, a htpc.
I connected my components to breadboard them shorted the switch jumpers, and no post.
I went through the Toms no post troubleshooting, and eventually removed all ram sticks and got the loud memory error tones.
From there I took another look at my mobo manufacturers website, and found that the ram I purchased was not listed as tested compatible, is this likely the source of my non-posting, and thus worth the RMA and reorder expense, or are there other things I can look for?

Thanks!
