Computer specs

Mobo - ASRock P67 EXTREME4 (B3)
Cpu - Intel Core i5-2500K
Ram - Ripjaws X 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600
Psu - SILVERSTONE ST75F-P 750W ATX 12V v2.3

Oh i have two monitors.

A GTX580 or Radeon 6970? Both are close to $500 where I live.

I'm not sure you need a $500 graphics card for World of Warcraft or Computer animation, maybe a Radeon 5870 or a GTX560? Both will run almost anything you throw at them.

so you have 500 dollars to burn on graphics huh... then obvious choice for you is gtx 580... maybe you can get the asus directcu ii version... or simply buy the reference design... i recommend evga... gigabyte and asus for having good reputation of honoring their warranty...

yet you still have another choice which will be more cost effective for you... gtx 570 is about 15% slower than gtx 580 depend on games... while being 150 dollars cheaper... gtx 570 seems to have better value for money... but gtx 580 is definitely the best option(since you have the money for it)

Could you please state your country. Prices differ allot per region.
And would you be so kind as to state your monitors resolutions and if you use both at the same time. This would narrow down what we would advice.

I agree with this. I did quite a it of research before buying my AMD 6950s in crossfire. I do not regret my decision at all. I'm actually quite impressed with the performance that I get with these things. For example, I get an average of 60 frames per second at 1920x1080 with everything set to Very High with 8xaa in the crysis built in benchmark. So, to answer a very common question, yes... It can play crysis. :p

The EVGA superclocked 580 is like 400USD on amazon might as well get that and use the 100 bucks for something...
WoW is not super intensive.you don't need top of the line either.just get something like a gtx 560 or 570.if you plan on dual or more cards get the radeon 6xxx series
