I have an Emachine et1331g and i have it connected to my tv. I have the cord to connect it to my tv and im using my tv as my monitor and my tv wont produce any sound. Anyone know how ti can get my tv to use its speakers for my computer?

what kind of cord are you using? s-video? youll most likely need either a headphone to headphone, an rca, or an hdmi cable, depending on the inputs for the tv. what tv/ what inputs are there on the back?

im just using a belkin rgb cord tHAT conects the tv to the desk top

ok well the answer is that you need an additional cable for sound, or perhaps an adapter for two cable types. can really tell you more if i dont know what tv you have or what inputs you have available.
