The CPU & Motherboard chosen are incompatible . CPU is socket 1156 whereas the motherboard supports socket 1155.

Also the network card is not a good idea as, the motherboard has a decent one inbuilt, also the sound card is not necessary as the motherboard has a dent one inbuilt. However if you are an audiophile then you may be needing it.
You can build a more efficient system for $1700. Here's my recommendation with the assumption that you are comfortable with the idea of dual GPUs:
It includes SSD, OS, and Cooler as well

CPU & BluRay Burner: $325- i5 2500K & LiteON(Great processor for gaming)

Motherboard & SSD: $275- Gigabyte GA Z68X UD4 & Crucial M4 64 GB(Great motherboard and decent SSD to start with)

Power Supply & RAM: $175-ThermalTake Black Widow 850 & GSkill RipjawX (2X 4GB)(modular , bronze certified PSU & cheap memory, has $10 off with promo code)

Case & HDD: $205- Corsair Graphite 600T & Samsung Spinpoint 1TB(Great case & fast HDD)

Cooler: $53- Xigmatek Dark Knight ( Will give the headroom to overclock the CPU to 4.5 GHz)

OS: $95- Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64 bit)(has $15 off with promo code)

GPU: $560(2X $280- Sapphire Radeon 6950 2GB(Lethat in crossfire, will blow out a single GTX 580)

Total(Excluding Rebates): 1688 USD

Rebates: 65 USD

Hope that helps.
