Remote Connection

I have a client that is running 2003 Small business server. Her previous IT person had her setup to remote in to the server, now when she used to remote in she was able to see what programs were running on the server. I do not know where to start with this.

Remote desktop is a tool that you can use to get to each computer without having to physically be next to it. I am at my work right now and I use RDP(remote desktop protocol) to connect to 4 other servers across town(through a vpn) from the server that I am on right now.
