Where does the GBA store its scores?

Are the scores and winned Pokemons stored in the Gameboy's Memory or in the
Game Card?
Is there a way to reset the game to factory settings (for example if I want
to sell it)?

It's stored in the gamecard. There usually a way to reset the game,
which should be mentioned in the manual. Or you can simply erase all
the games before you sell the game...
