While it is generally reported that our next processors (die strink) are going to be using the same socket as the 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processors there are some features that are reported to be suppported on those processors that only a very few boards support at this time. So I think (my opinion, I don't know) that while they may plug into the boards you are going to only find a limited number of boards that will fully support our next processors.
