Asrock n68c and segate and 3 tb sata not working

Hello, I've recently brought a Segate baraccuda 3tb drive, have updated bios and nvida driver to latest version, but boot hangs when attempting to autodetect the new drive , i can here the drive spinning up, ok , but bios wont load it, even if i press F2 , it wont default to bios setup with drive attached any suggestions

Your Seagate HDD is probably fine, The ASRock N68C motherboard is an old and bad design that i'm pretty sure WON'T support HDD of more than 1TB...The best solution will be to get a new cheap mobo from Asus, Gigabyte or MSI...There are nice Asus AM3+ motherboards that are cheap and support your currently AM3 CPU (and also support the new AMD FX)
