For your school??? quit using a proxy server and use the program Ultra Surf, its a light weight exe that encrypts packets before they leave your computer so the filters have no idea what it is. I am able to go anywhere with it....myspace, facebook, the pirate bay, bing, whatever.

or, go to dyndns.com and make an account. They give you 2 free domain names that you can forward to your homes external(which is dynamic and changing) by having your router forward the address every time it changes.
