BitFenix Shinobi v. Antec Three Hundred

Hiya guys

My friend is building a new budget system and would like to know your thoughts on which case you guys prefer - the BitFenix Shinobi or the Antec Three Hundred?

Which one has better cooling, lower noise etc?

Sucks we don't have the Antec Three Hundred Illusion here in Australia :(

Thanks for your time! :)

  1. big fan of the Antec 300 series. not familiar with the Shinobi's...but Antec is my choice.
  2. The Shinobi has more going for it since it's a much newer design.
Ability to mount 2x140mm top exhaust and superior cable management.
    Looks better too.
The 300 is no slouch but is showing its age.
    Cable management can be challenging.
It's well built and the included fans are quiet.

Haha, I know what you mean! I hate messy cables inside my case :P

Do you know anything about their noise levels? Do you reckon the stock fans should just be replaced with more silent fans?

I just built in a 300 prior to the Shinobi's release.
You can't deny the 300 it's reputation but cabling can be a challenge.
It will be a dogs breakfast but it won't interfere with airflow.
Plus you won't see it once the panel is on.
Fans are high quality and quiet imo.
If the Shinobi was available at the time i would have chose it though.
It looks good and has plenty of cable routing ports.
I haven't read a poor review on the Shinobi yet,all have been very positive.
  5. I'd say BitFenix Shinobi

it looks better aesthetically pleasing. They are both low cost performance cases, so in performance and everything, they are about the same.

Go with the one you think looks nicer.
  6. I like the BitFenix case. We just recently got my brother one.
