Error Messages

HI,

Appreciate all of your help with my first question

I'm getting error messages a lot. I've been asking around and was told that it sounds like my registry needs cleaning up. Trying to read all I can about this, including upgrading the system/increasing the ram.

How does one know which registry issues are the ones that need to be deleted? I've seen the phrase "there is no undo", which is quite scary.

...and what is recommended to use, to clean up the registry? I've heard about CCleaner and Regedit....

I've backed up my system.

I know my pc is getting gray around the temples, but I need to keep it a bit longer.
