I have great pings 40ms to most places, but I have HORRIBLE bandwidth issues. I'm advertised to get 12 mbps, and when it's working correctly will almost get those speeds. But it seems like now I get sub 3 mps now and I don't know what it could be.
I have bypassed my router and still have the issue. I've had 2 tech guys come out and of course it was working correctly when they came and the first guy replaced the cable modem.
My modem is an RCA with a Model # of DCM425
These are the recordings I got yesterday:
Signal Acquired at 111.000 MHz
Connection: Acquired
SNR: 36.5 dB
Frequency: 33.0 MHz
Received Signal Strength: -7.9 dBmV
Power Level: 45.0 dBmV
Bit Error Rate: 0.000 %
Channel ID: 1
Modulation: 256 QAM
Modulation: 16 QAM
These are the recordings I got just now:
SNR: 30.6 dB
Frequency: 33.0 MHz
Received Signal Strength: -17.3 dBmV
Power Level: 59.5 dBmV
Bit Error Rate: 0.875 %
Channel ID: 1
Modulation: 256 QAM
Modulation: 16 QAM
Line Quality Test: »/linequality/nil/2675998
I'm using Vista
Anyone have any ideas? This is getting REALLY annoying.
