Cooler fans?

Hello, i'm building my own gaming computer. i am choosing a Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard and i am wondering if getting a CPU cooler necessary? if so should i get the cooler master hyper 212 plus?

yes, the improvement over a stock cooler is pretty drastic, hyper 212 has good reviews, I have a CM hyper212 EVO, and am loving it.

Depends. If you are not going to overclock, maybe yes and maybe no. It depends on how efficiently your case moves air through it.

If you are going to overclock, yes, you need a better than stock cooler.

Ther are many coolers better than the Hiper 212+, but they all cost significantly more. At around $30, you cannot beat the 212. For the price, nothing comes close.
