hi guys,

im planing to build new PC without any budget restriction as long as it is worth it.

im planning to buy CPU 3930K with asus motherboard 8 Dimms quad channel

so my question what do i really need to get best gaming performance?

latency, ram speed or capacity?

not really for over clocking but if you have comments please feel free to say.

There's no real advantage to anything greater than DDR3-1600 CAS 9 on the IB/SB/SE-E CPU's. Potentially faster kits high Frequency with low CAS you might squeeze out +0~+3FPS, but the 'cost' is reduced overall stability.

The DDR3L (1.35v) low voltage kits are easier on the CPU's IMC. They are (newer) superior IC's that can work as either 1.35v or 1.50v.

I use Corsair CMZ16GX3M4X1600C9G - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233247

Otherwise choose Quad kits from Corsair - http://www.corsair.com/us/memory/intel-memory-upgrades/quad-channel-intel-memory-upgrade-kits.html
