This is one I have and never any issue : )

I recommend CORSAIR Vengeance 99% of the time, quality RAM and low profile with XMP profile.
And if u will get an aftermarket CPU cooler, low profile is the worry free remedy with perfect fit with any large cooler.
CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

Vengeance Low Profile heat spreaders have a reduced height of 1.03" (26.25mm). They're designed for high-performance systems with extra-large CPU coolers, small form factor system builds, or any other space-constrained application where standard Vengeance memory might not fit.

This RAM fits under any large CPU cooler, so u are just fine to have one of these.

Low profile.

Tall profile RAM.

As u can see, it doesn't fitt the tall RAM with this cooler.

This one is tall too, but it has removable top, so it would fit.

I also recommend water cooling. U can use tall RAM here : )

Or the better one. Your CPU deserve good cooling, so u can OC to 4.6GHz and have it for 24/7 run.

All u have to do is go to BIOS and enable XMP mode and that's all.
July 9, 2012 7:04:59 PM

i use a MSI Z77A-G45

Yeah, it will OC fine and also enable the XMP mode.
July 9, 2012 7:15:38 PM

How do i do that?, i hope i'm not to complicated here : )

But, tell u the truth, there is no performance to gain with your RAM change - 2%.

To gain more performance, get an SSD, unless u have one already.

RAM speed comparison - We're looking at a less than 2% difference from the fastest to the slowest.

Press Del to get in the BIOS.

Go to Advanced DRAM Configuration and adjust the speed from AUTO to 1600MHz.

F10 to save it and restart.
