The thing is that i got my zotac gtx 560 yesterday and i installed that card. Then when i started gaming my screen became blank and the system crashed.
I am using the latest 285.38 nvidia drivers. I also tried re-installing the drivers but to no effect.
I believe that it is a psu issue ,although i am using a psu having enough dough to run the system :
cooler master extreme power plus 600 watt ( 18 *2 =36 amps @ 12v )

gtx 560 requires 450 watt and 30 amps @12 v, so i was a bit disappointed :(  .

what do you guys think.. what might be the problem.can the gpu be faulty?

and if the problem is psu then which psu should i go for(i want a future proof psu)

corsair gs 800( price $108)
or
corsair Tx 750 v2.(price $ 114)

cheers

ps
please dont suggest any other brand :D

The extreme power plus series was just a series of foil boxes filled with crap, the 600 W version goes out of spec if you try to pull more than about 450 W from it so im not surprised that you are having issues.

I would go for the 750TXV2 over the GS 800, the GS 800 has a bit more power listed as available on its 12 V rail, but the TXV2 is rated at 50 C vs 30 C and is 80+ bronze vs 80+ basic.

Newegg had it for a good bit less, so shop online, you can often find better deals on various sites.

actually i am from india

so newegg is out of option :(

Then the price $114 is not that bad since everything is cheaper in the US.
