Will my system bottleneck an HD 6950 unlocked?

I'm planning on upgrading to an HD6950 and unlocking it. I don't plan on overclocking my cpu because my mobo is really fighting me on it. My bios is just rediculous. I can't adjust the multipler nor the vcore. Will it be worth it to get this card with my current motherboard?

You mean the q9650? yeah thats a good cpu, if you can you should try increase the fsb and get some extra speed out of your cpu

Yes that is the one I mean. I've been trying to increase the fsb but the highest I can take it is 343 and the multiplier is stuck at 9 and I can't adjust my vcore. My motherboard is supposed to have this thing called hybrid booster which allows adjustment of these two things but it doesn't seem to work. both are locked.
