Laptop Fan

I have a toshiba qosmio x505-q870 and the cpu overheated on monday so i ordered a new cpu fan installed it and it was doing the same thing. So i checked it out and the fan runs till it boots into windows then it turns off and not back on. If i press F2 to go into bios it always stays running. In my windows configuration for advanced power options it still says active. I have tried another hard drive with windows on it and the same thing happens. What could cause this or more importantly what can i do to fix it?

Install speedfan and see if you can get Manuel control. If you can, crank it up.

I install speed fan but no fans show up in there
